Best examples I can think of are the reserved words in FAA chatter been ground control and pilots, the Red Cross's insistence on repeating the phrase "Are you okay?" twice before beginning CPR, etc. This usually differs by company, or government agency, or etc. This usually includes "safe words" - words reserved for a certain emergency situation. In many fields where an engineer or a technician is working with something very dangerous or highly unstable, they have protocols in place that must be followed if something goes wrong.
